Clifford "Clip" Arnold Jewell

Funeral services for Clifford "Clip" Jewell will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA with visitation from 10:30 AM until time of service. Interment will follow at Burroughs Garden of Memories Cemetery, Columbia under the direction of Riser Funeral Home.

Clifford Arnold Jewell was born on November 11, 1950 in Columbia to the union of his beloved parents, Charles Aubrey Jewell and Mary Doris Talbert Jewell and passed from this life on June 15, 2021. “Clip” was preceded in death by his beloved parents, by his brothers, "Dink" Jewell and Charles Robert Jewell, and brothers-in-law, Walter Speegle and Chuck Stapleton. Mr. Jewell's life was filled with hunting and fishing, spending time at his camp and working in his garden. He loved having a "cupa-cupa" of Coffee on the porch and loved chewing tobacco. He also loved collecting arrowheads and guns; he loved taking a nap and watching Westerns on TV.

Left to cherish his seventy years of life is his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Ann Jewell; his son, Johnathon Jewell (Mary Ann); his daughter, Summer Bower (Mike); two sisters, Helen Speegle and Renee Stapleton; his beloved grandchildren: Zach Bower (Mallory), Destiny Witherington (Charlie), Kateleigh Bower, and Jonas Jewell; great-grandchildren include: Brooks Bower, Lexy Bower, Ranger Bower, Emma Witherington, and Beau Witherington.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rudy Guerrero, Tom Bonner, Bit Reynolds, Zach Bower, Brent Snell, and Jeff Jewell. Honorary pallbearers include Junior Oliveaux, Jimmy Payne, Jimmy Hatten, and Buddy Talbert.
