Claude "Darren" Ramsey

Claude Darren Ramsey, age 55, of Bowling Green, Florida, passed away on May 12, 2025. He was born on September 22, 1969, in Olla, Louisiana. Claude moved to Bowling Green, FL in 2019, having previously resided in Crossett, Arkansas. He was a dedicated contractor and operator, specializing in power line work, and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Claude is preceded in death by his biological parents, Barbara Jones and Claude Wayne Ramsey, as well as his maternal grandparents, Cleve and Onie Jones, paternal grandparents, Franklin and Cora Ramsey, paternal step-grandparents, John and Gladys Daugherty, and his brother, Leon Ramsey and a brother in infancy.

He is survived by his stepfather, Jerry Daugherty of Arkansas, and his loving wife, Chrystina Ramsey, of Florida. Claude leaves behind his cherished sons, Billy Diakomihalis and Christos Diakomihalis, both of Florida, and his beloved daughters, Kristen Wagstaff and her husband Joel of Texas, Valerie Ramsey of Arkansas, Sophia Diakomihalis of Florida. and Anna Diakomihalis of Florida. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry Wayne Ramsey Arkansas, Amy Grubb and her husband J.R. of Arkansas, Melinda Mills and her husband Mike of Arkansas, and Jerri Kaye Stoddard and her husband Jeff of Arkansas. several nieces and nephews Additionally, he is survived by his precious grandchild, Cooper Morrison of Texas.

Claude will be remembered for his strength, dedication, and the love he shared with his family and friends. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 19, 2025, at Olla Pentecostal Church, Olla, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Olla Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Olla. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 Am until 11:00 AM prior to the service at the church.
