Charles “Den” Harris Obituary

Funeral services for Charles "Denva" Harris , known by everyone as "Den" will be held 10 :00 AM Wednesday December 10 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Pete Molnaird officiating. Interment will follow in the Cross Roads Cemetery at Grayson. The Harris Family will receive visitors on Tuesday December 9, 2025 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Charles “Den” Harris passed away peacefully December 5th of 2025 at Saint Francis Hospital surrounded by love ones. He was a faithful member and deacon of The Tabernacle Baptist Church of Columbia, Louisiana. He was a loving and wonderful Husband, Father, Brother, and Paw Paw. He was a Friend to many people who knew Den Harris. He loved hunting, going on the lake with his grandchildren, and working as a company man for 55 years. He also loved spending time with is family and friends and his beautiful wife Glenda Fay Harris before she passed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Fay Harris from Grayson Louisiana, his Father Arvel Gerald Harris from Clarks, Louisiana and his mother Virginia Elizabeth Traylor Harris from Columbia, Louisiana.

He is survived by his two children Chucky Harris of Columbia, Louisiana and his wife Fay Harris. His daughter Deborah Moore and her husband Thomas Haywood of Winnsboro, Louisiana. His one Brother, Jeff Harris and his wife Kimberly Evans Harris of Princeton, Kentucky. His Grandchildren, Caleb Moore, Hannah Moore and Chloe Haywood . His faithful dog “Buster Brown”; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Moore, Moe Taylor, Stevie Rogers, Ken Mills, John Mills, and Joey Haywood
