Charles Rayburn Bentley IV

Charlie was born on August 1, 2006, in Mesa Arizona, and passed from this life after a lengthy battle with depression on June 25, 2024, at his home in Tullos, Louisiana. Charlie loved listening to music, Legos, building model vehicles, and anything with wheels. 

He is preceded in death by his brother, Quintin Octavien, his grandmother, Jeanette Ostenson, and his great-grandparents.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Melissa Ostenson; father, Phil Patten; his siblings: Tina Sue (children, Kaitlynn and River), Tara Jane, Jeff Jr., Kenzee (wife, Victoria and child, Lucas), LeAnn Upshaw (husband, Luke and children, Beau and Lyla), and Anolla Patten (Faith and child, Michael). His grandfather, Eddy Ostenson, and his aunts: Catherine Fletcher, Virginia Beck (Michael), and Kimberli "Fred" Huerta. Also left behind to cherish his memory are his cousins: Robert Beck (Ann), Tyler Beck, James Smailes, Cody Ostenson (Robin), Amanda Welch (husband, Chris and children, Finley and Elijah), Rebeca Beck (children, Avery and Waylon) and Destiny Gray (husband, Tray and children: Cali, Tristen, Ryker, and Archie).

The family asks for the respect of their privacy during their time of grieving.
