Funeral services for Cathy Louise Bailey Cloud will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 28, 2022, from the Chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Olla, LA with Bro. Elsie Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at the Urania Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home. The visitation will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022, at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until time of service at 12:00.
Cathy was born in Winnsboro, LA on February 26, 1956, to the union of her parents, Ruben Ciley "Buddy" Bailey and Louise Marie Swillie Bailey, and she passed from this life on May 25, 2022, at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. Cathy was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved camping, fishing, planting flowers, and doing yard work. Cathy liked sneaking off to the casino some when she could. She had a love for animals and it didn't matter what kind. She had a couple special things that meant the world to her and that was her dog "Peanut" and her "Palmer Blanket." Cathy loved and cherished her family and friends, and the time spent with them. She loved her grandbabies more than anything. Cathy will be greatly missed.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Donald Bailey, Tim Bailey, and Dennis Bailey; and her sisters: Dianne Rollins and Betty Bailey.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of forty-eight years (together for over fifty), James Cloud Sr.; her son, Jamie Cloud (Lyndsie); her daughters: Kristi Blackwell (Johnny) and Kayla Cloud (Chance Grant); her brothers: Gary Bailey (Brenda), Herman Bailey, Rikey Bailey (Lesa), and Doug Bailey (Dawn); her sisters: Nelda Adams (Gary), Patty McAdams (John), and Janet Savoie (Marshall); her sisters-in-law: Tammy Jackson (Jerry Paul) and Marilyn Terral (Melvin); her grandchildren: Mallory Reed (Caleb), Mason Blackwell, Baylie Cloud, Emmarie Poole, Bristol Cloud, and James Brock Cloud due this year, great-grandchildren: Piper Reed and Palmer Reed, as well as some very special friends, Vicky Lisenby, Donna King, Kay Woodward, and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jason Coleman, Rodney Shelton, Kenneth Shelton, Matthew Bailey, Corey Bailey, and Zane Parker. Honorary pallbearers are Bryce Stott and Chance Grant.
