Graveside funeral services for Billy Ray Warner will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson, LA With Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Services are under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia. Billy Ray was born June 12, 1940 in Columbia, LA to the union of his parents, Alva Hilburn Warner and Millie Kenworthy Warner, and he passed from this life February 11, 2021 at Citizens Medical Center, Columbia. Billy was a simple man and loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed hunting and working cows, but he really enjoyed gardening. Billy drove trucks for many years before he started his own business. He owned and operated Billy Ray Warner Trucking. He fought for our freedom in the United States Army and was discharged as an E4. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Warner; his sons: Russell Warner and Keith Warner; and his brother, Alva Warner. Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Bennie Warner (Darla); sisters: Cathy Burroughs and Wanda Taylor; granddaughter, Alex Warner Robinson (Jacob); and his great-grandson, Jack Warner Robinson. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Kit Warner, Kolter Warner, Dewayne Warner, Chad Dannehl, Darren Dannehl, and Robert Dannehl.
