Funeral services for Beverly Kay Grant Kelly age 52 of Spring, Texas will be held 2PM Sunday February 22, 2009 from the Columbia Chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Lavelle Hatten officiating. Private family burial will follow in the Little Star Cemetery at Holum,La. Family visitation will be on Sunday from 1PM until time of service at the Riser Funeral Home. Beverly Kay Grant was born on September 27, 1956 at Monroe, La. Kay was a 1974 graduate of Caldwell Parish High School, and a 1978 Graduate from the University of Louisiana Monroe School of Nursing. Kays calling in nursing was that of newborn medicine and neo-natal units. For a time Kay taught Nursing school in Bartlettsville, Oklahoma. Kays love and partner in life was her husband Mike Kelly who remained by her side in her last battle in life, also of Spring,Texas. Other survivors include: Her son: Jason Kelly of Spring, TX . Her parents; Fred and Glenda Grant of Clarks,LA . Her sister: Patsy Hatten and husband Marshall of Columbia. Her brother: Bryan Grant , New Mexico. 3 step brother's: Butch Broussard & wife Loraine of Tallahasse,FL, Greg Broussard and wife Kim, of Houston, Texas, and David Broussard and wife Nancy of Kelly.
