Bettye Lou Meredith

Bettye Lou was born on October 12, 1951, in Urania to the union of her parents, Cecil and Audie Meredith. She passed from this life on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 73 years of age.

Graveside services will be at Beach Creek Cemetery on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM,  with Bro. Denver McBroom officiating. Family and friends will begin gathering at the cemetery at 9:45 AM. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. Bettye Lou loved Jesus. She loved to invite people to pray with her. She knew that when she left this earth that her eternal home would be in Heaven with Jesus.

Although she could not talk, she had a way of communicating what was on her mind. People who knew her definitely loved her. She kept people laughing constantly.

She is survived by a few cousins. Her special cousin was Karen.

She will be remembered by many special friends at LARC in Lafayette which was her home for years.
