Funeral services for Bettye Dale Allred, age 85 of Grayson, will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from the Columbia chapel of Riser and Son Funeral home with Bro. Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. The Allred family will receive visitors on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Bettye Dale Allred was born on May 9, 1940, at Columbia, LA to the union of her parents, Wilbur Dale and Ruby Inez Cruse Dale and she passed from this life on January 15, 2026, at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia following an extended illness. Bettye was preceded in death by her parents; by two sons, Mickey Hyde and Rickey Hyde; and by two brothers, Henry Dale and Donald Dale.

Bettye was a wonderful wife and loving mother. She wore many hats in her lifetime as far as occupations go: Cosmetologist, CNA, Dispatcher with the Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Office, Bus Driver with Caldwell Parish School Systems and a Correctional Officer. 

Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are her beloved husband, John Allred; adopted daughter, Betty Ann Smith; and two special neighbors, Sonja Crain and Amber Broussard.
