Beatrice Maxine Harrelson

Funeral services for Beatrice "Maxine" Harrelson, will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December, 20, 2025 at Riser Funeral Home with Dustin Harrelson officiating with interment following in Sandy Bayou Cemetery in Sandy Bayou. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM. 

Beatrice Maxine Harrelson was born to the union of J.H. McNeil and Lalaura Beatrice McNeil on October 16, 1931 and passed from this life at her residence in Duty Ferry on December 13, 2025. MawMaw was a sweet and loving soul who's kindness touched five generations. She had a patience and gentleness about her that was unmatched. She had a bright soul and gentle heart that will be missed in this cold-hardened world.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, H.W. Harrelson; her parents; siblings, Robert and James McNeil; son, Scotty Harrelson; grandchildren, Nina Harrelson and Danyelle Harrelson-Coates; Great-Grandchild, Chelsea Coates.

She is survived by her son, Danny Gene Harrelson (Darla); Grandchildren, Bo Harrelson, Dustin Harrelson (Annah), Michael (Tammy); great-grandchildren, Derek Coates (Lindlay), Tabatha Crawford (Logan), Rianne Coates, Randa Coates, Brittany Schultz (Austin), Gabe & Rainy Harrelson (Michael), Brayden Harrelson, Elijah Harrelson, Liam Harrelson, Kendale Thompson, Easton Thompson, Dani Thompson, Eric Harrelson, Casey Hutson (Cody); great-great-grandchildren, Remy Crawford, Adaline Crawford, Coralee Crawford, Reed Beckley, Wren Beckley, Rustin Beckley, Daniel and David Coates, Alana and Hunter Coates, Lane Coates, Levi Coates, Emma Coates, Dutton Coates, Michael and Ella Hutson, and Lanie Harrelson.

Pallbearers will include Calvin (BoBo), Logan Crawford, Austin Schultz, Derek Coates, and Brayden Harrelson.
