Barbara Ann West

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Dortch West, age 78, of Grayson will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday February 15, 2023 from the Columbia chapel of Riser & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Duke officiating. Her sister-in-law, Mona Dortch will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Old Union Cemetery at Grayson.  The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 8:30 until time of service at 10:00 AM.

Barbara was born on August 22, 1944 at Petrolia, Texas to the union of her parents Jack Dean Dortch and Etta Mae Wise Dortch, and she passed from this life on February 12, 2023  at her residence at Grayson. Barbara loved yard work, riding around, sight seeing, and loved girls trips with her sisters and sisters-in-law. She loved family times and loved her kids and grandkids immensely.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Jimmy Lee West, her son: Jackie "T. B. " West, her sister, Mary Frances Sanders, her niece, Ellen Thoms and her nephew, Dean Sanders.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Bobbie Lee West; two daughters, Linda Donald (Alastair) and Angela West Antley (Chad); brothers, Jack Dortch (Mona) and Raymond Dortch (Donna); her sister, Edith Neely (Harld); and her beloved grandchildren, Savannah Regan, Andrew Donald, Alexander Donald, Victoria West, Spencer Antley and Landon Antley; and a host of family especially her nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Logan Dortch, Koby Dortch, Chad Antley, Spencer Antley, Clint Fletcher and Barry Dortch.
