April Jean Adams age 49 of Grayson, LA was born on April 13, 1977 here in Louisiana to the union of her parents Elma Ray Fields and Sadie Lafferty Fields. She passed from this life on July 17, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.

To her family she was a daughter, wife, a mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her family especially the grandchildren she was blessed with, more than life itself.  She loved to go fishing and loved to hunt arrowheads with her loving husband Pearl. She was known for her creativity and persistence when pursuing new hobbies such as her sewing. April was a beautiful amazing woman who was never afraid to speak her mind. She was well known for her dark humor and her unending kindness. She was selfless and would give anything to relieve her loved ones of the pain they are enduring. She will forever be missed in all the hearts that love her.

Survivors include her husband Pearl Adams, two sons, Tristan Brody Adams and Kristopher Alex Adams; her daughters, Heidi Pearl Adams, Zoie Kaitlynn Howard and  Ashlyn Breanna Dowdy. Her sisters Molly Drummond, Becky Drummond and Sheila Fields and brother Ray Fields, and her beloved grandchildren Paislee Minchew, Zander Minchew and Eli Dowdy.

No services are planned at this time which was her wish.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help deray funeral expenses.
