Alice Sue (Crum) Laswell was born on July 24, 1949 in Modesto, California to the union of her parents, Joe Crum and Irma Ilene (Shoudie) Crum.  She passed from this life on June 5, 2026 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe following an extended illness.

The greatest gift she was given in life was that of becoming a follower of  her Lord Jesus Christ. She shared that love with everyone around her even helping her husband as he served as a Hospital Chaplain basically working together as a Team.  She attended University at UNLV and excelled in all sports. Even in bowling she had the highest average on her team. She became a Semi Pro in Softball and had the highest batting average on her team. In all areas of her life she excelled but her greatest achievement was that of being  a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her and she shall be sorely missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of fifty-six and one half years, Clifford Laswell; her step-son: Allen Laswell, her son: Wade Aswell and her daughter: Jodie Nicole; three grandchildren: Alyson, Laci and Brittney and one great-grandchild: Bodie Gene Douglas.

The Laswell Family honored Mrs. Alice's wishes of being cremated and  will announce at a later time Memorial Service arrangments.
