Alford Mark Robertson

Alford Mark Robertson, age 83, was born on February 14,1942, to the union of his parents, Rev. Almer and Effie Robertson, and he passed away at his home in Hebert, LA, on August 10, 2025, after a brief illness. Alford had a long career as a mechanic. He loved to fish and do wordworking. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clothielde Robertson; his son, Billy Robertson; son-in-law, Bonnie Prince; step-son, Jerry McCready; his sisters: Zola Mae Sanderson, Wanda Bass, Olar Evan, and Beatrice Hammonds; and brother, Alton Robertson.

Those left to cherish his memories are his daughters: Annette (Dale) Clark, Mary Prince, Patricia Robertson; step-sons: Danny McCready and Howard McCready (Joannie); twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dan Montfort, James Keene, Jay Dove, Chris Prince, Aiden Prince, and Patrick Prince.

Services will be held at Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia, Louisiana, on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with Bro. Eddie Schexnaydre officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Creek Cemetery, Spearsville, LA. The family will have a visitation on Thursday, August. 14, 2025, at the funeral home from 5 PM until 8 PM.
