Funeral services for Mr. A. L. "Buddy" Perkins, age 81 of Grayson will be held 10AM Saturday, April 25, 2009 from the Christians Sharing Christ Church in Clarks with Rev.Dewayne Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery at Clarks. Visitation will be on Friday from 3Pm til 9pm at the church. He was born on July 2, 1927 at Glenmora, La. to the union of James Lemuel Perkins and Maybelle Markel Perkins. He was a Veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army. Survivors include a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family members. Pallbearers will be Carl Fatheree, Brian Boyd, Matthew Nelson, Mack Nelson, Nicholas Hunt, and Joey Boyd. Honorary pallbearers include Eddie Wilkes and Brandon Boyd.
